Prevent injury and keep muscles loose
If you're training regularly, be it running, cycling or swimming, a sports massage once every four weeks (or possibly more, depending on your training load) will hugely benefit your body. Appointments are generally one hour during which I'll focus on the muscles you use most with specific emphasis on any trouble areas.
Iron out muscle knots and niggles
There's nothing more frustrating than injury striking in the middle of a training programme. Whether it's a sore lower back, stiff calves or a sore Achilles, I'll spend time focusing on the specific injury you're suffering as well as recommending some post-massage stretches and exercises. Appointments are generally an hour but bespoke options are available depending on your needs.
Extra support where you need it
Taping can be used to provide extra support to muscles and joints such as around the knee, IT band and Achilles. It's super stretchy and allows you to move as normal while providing pain relief, reducing swelling and improving performance. Taping is best used as part of a wider treatment programme, rather than in isolation.
